Infrant has some very nice SOHO NAS (network attached storage) devices: http://www.infrant.com/ Plenty of other vendors offer similar solutions, at a typical price point between $750-1500. On the cheaper end, you can simply copy the contents of one disk to another. For example, I use a Linksys NSLU2, which is a tiny fileserver device that supports USB drives. That runs around $80, and can automatically copy files from one drive to another - a "poor man's RAID".
