howdy all...i've become a little fixated on the idea of using AMF and CF to talk server to server (and possibly to consume webservices)...i spent about 10 hours yesterday exploring different possible ways to do this, the most promising seems to be the idea of using OpenAMF.
with the OpenAMF Java port of AMFphp it should be a few simple methods and this would be possible...but the OpenAMF project doesn't seem have much documentation nor be a very active project. I've loaded the openamf.jar using createobject and can see some of the methods, but i just don't know enough about how to use Java methods in CF or the proper usage of OpenAMF. i was thinking of maybe posting an extremely modest 'Contest Page' to see if maybe a few other people want to join me in donating some money for this functionality, or perhaps just posting the project on one of the Rent-A-Coder sites.
