I've heard good things about both. I use FusionReactor though. The cost structure is what made our final decision. FusionReactor can be licensed by server and that covers as many instances you have on that server. SeeFusion is licensed per instance. When we did the math for how many instances we have FusionReactor came in at a lower cost and we don't have to worry about purchasing another license if we have to add another instance.
Also, we got it because we were having random problems with the server that weeks of reading IIS/CF/JRun logs didn't solve. We installed FR and within 45 minutes we found out that a particular user was pulling a report in such a way as to almost bring every record in the db into a report. Quick change to the code to prevent it and the server stopped having problems. I have heard good things on both tools. I use SeeFusion. SeeFusion uses a Flex 2 interface, has been in this business longer than Fusion-Reactor, and arguably has a smaller server footprint based on a feature set specifically limited for monitoring purposes. ~Brad -----Original Message----- From: Greg Luce [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, February 07, 2007 8:52 PM To: CF-Talk Subject: Re: FusionReactor?
