Before you get too far into your sweepstakes coding, I would suggest that you have your client check with his attorney, if he hasn't already done so, to be sure that the details of what he intends to do are legal. I'm not any kind of expert in this area but I have heard of sweepstakes going very badly with the sponsors being financially ruined in the end and being threatened with the possibility of prison time in the process. Plus whatever your client needs to do to conduct his sweepstakes legally may very well influence your coding.
