Well, it starts up, and you can connect from a couple of browsers and share the whiteboard- that's all I really tried. The "doesn't work" comments are for shutting it down clean, which I haven't been able to do. :-/ It was just a stab at using createObject to start up the server-- as I said, I'm not sure how the best way to do it is, but onAppStart seemed reasonable. :-/ So, it works, but how well-- eeeeeeehhhhhh. Not very. I'd frankly feel a bit scared about rolling it out as it currently is-- the java stuff can really whack an entire CF server. That said, I left it running locally, and it didn't seem to be eating up resources or whatnot. :-/ Heh. I was wondering if I should even share it, as this stuff can be dangerous, server-wise. But hell, maybe it'll help you, or someone else, figure out that last bit that was stumping them for something. Mostly it was just a bit of fun-- java is kewl. Wasn't sure if you could do what I did. Yes, you can! Should you? Eh... :-) The AJAX whiteboard, in combination with an AJAX chat, would be a smarter, and more viable solution for other folks as well. You could take that bad boy and even sell it to others, I reckon-- just undercut some of the stuff that's out there. Or whatnot. Target CF, maybey... Flash would also be cool, but I think you'd hit a wider audience with AJAX. my 2 bits, and a chuck of code. =] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Create Web Applications With ColdFusion MX7 & Flex 2.
