You'll need a third party server, unless you're running XP Pro or any of the
Microsoft server versions, they come with IIS.

The built in CF server is designed for development only, and isn't meant to
handle any traffic, except development.

Subject: ColdFusion Webserver

Hi,

Just wondering if you guys could help me understand something.

I have been developing software with ColdFusion and running it on my local
server.

I now want to install in on a computer and allow various people to access it
through the internet. I was just wondering if ColdFusion comes with
everything I need in order to get it to do this or do I need to get a 3rd
party webserver. I dont really know what the difference is between all of
these issues so would really like some guidance.

Thanks very much for any help

Richard
