This is important to get confirmed. My chat with the dev team a few weeks ago indicated they wouldn't be releasing updates as often as fck does. They changed some core fck files (file browsing for example) for security reasons and thus it isn't the exact same code as from the fck site. And that replacing it would cause support issues. That said I imagine replacing the code would be pretty easy if you have access to the server.
