Not familiar with WAMP I use XAMPP for my windows Dev enviroment. Unsure but that is the same message I see when someone forgets the PHP MYSQL Connector. In most cases it is only on a linux box. I have never seen it on windows (Unless I forget to Start MySQL Server)
