I will say that CFE has a very high learning curve.

I guess it can do. If the employer is a firm believer in CFE and you're a
CFS fan, all things being equal it might be the deciding factor.

Surely the thing to do is give each one a good old try. In fact, I'm off to
install CFE right now...
