In many respects, they already have. In LiveCycle ES, you do everything from Eclipse, from building Designer forms, to writing Forms API code, to building workflows. In LiveCycle 7.x, you used separate tools for everything. LiveCycle ES is a HUGE improvement over the previous version; the previous Workflow tool was an exercise in patience. The interesting thing about LiveCycle Designer 8.1 is that it can be used as an Eclipse plugin, or run standalone. If you run it as an Eclipse plugin, you can easily switch from your forms development to other aspects of LiveCycle development. If you're just building forms, you can use LiveCycle Designer without worrying about Eclipse at all.
