I tried on here before without much luck, but I really need to know how to set up some code that allows us to notify people on a mailing list when we've posted a new news or press release item. I'm assuming I need to set up a database that will hold the people who register, but how will we notify them when something has been updated and how can we email them what's been updated? It's a lot like the mailing lists here. How do they work? I'm just really stuck putting all of the pieces together!
