You do not have to take any of the classes in order to pass the exam. I
have never taken any formal Allaire training. However, I do recommend that
you have a thorough understanding of CF and programming constructs in
general, prior to taking the exam. Everyone should keep in mind that merely
passing a test is not a true indication of ability, and should only be
considered as part of the larger picture of a developer.
