Found the procedure on the Adobe web site, and went ahead changed cfm and cfml 
files to upload as BINARY instead of ASCII, even rebooted my computer, but it 
did not fix the problem. Let me add that I also un-installed and re-installed 
Dreamweaver 8, but that did not fix it either.
