Quite certain. It's the primary keyed identity field in the given table.

The dev database is a couple-of-year-old copy, schema-wise, of our 
production database - and the table in question is about four years old. :D

We've recently moved to CF8, so I suspect the issue lies there - there's 
something different that's tripping this error.
