FTP from the PC to the Mac? That would sort of crimp things. The goal is to be able to save a file, then reload the browser just as if I was devving on my PC.

Always be sure, if there is a choice, to pick the 'intel' version of a program, when you install it. You set up the network to issue 'static' ips to your computers (static on your internal network). Install MAMP and ColdFusion seperately. Make sure one works fine, before installing the next. (easier to debug problems). Use your FTP program to connect to the mac via the local network. The user/pass should be the user/pass for the computer. (you can test this out before installing any programs.)
