It has always worked fine for the small jobs I made with it. One of which was a searchable index of our word doc based employee handbook. Worked like a charm first time out of the box with no trouble. But I'm only talking dozens of largely static documents not hundreds or thousands of constantly updated material, so your millage may vary and all the usual caveats.
