Rick, Actually Aaron West (trajiklyhip.com) has a multi-part tutorial on setting up and configuring Subversion, including tying it to Apache for http access, and using the Subclipse plugin for Eclipse. It won't get you advanced info, and even the intermediate may be lacking, but it is a solid start on using Subversion in conjunction with Eclipse.
