Initially my XP box failed to install Microsoft updates, so, I had a Microsoft engineer work on it (yesterday afternoon for more than 2 hours), he did something to my box remotely, he managed to install seven updates, now what? All my Cold Fusion (old version as well as cf8) datasource connections (from Access to ms sql server 2000 & 2005) are broken. "Access denied". Probably he reset all security configurations to blocking all something.
A microsoft engineer is on the phone for over an hour... any idea as to the cause and better, solution would save me, it's beyond being upset...
