I run my own mail server (but was thinking about switching to AHP for that...ha...), but I see the wisdom of having my mail run from a different place from my sites, just so my clients can get through to me if there's a problem with their sites.
I just godaddy as my registrar and may just go back to using them for my email. Many of my clients use their email without issue.
