Managing a Windows server is one thing. Linux? TThat is a whole nother ball of wax. And on top of that, managing EC2 instances is a learning curve in and of itself. So much so that there is a cottage industry growing around managing EC2 instances. But for the intrepid, EC2 and BD J2EE will start looking very attractive.
