I'm interested in this one... I actually ran into this again last night. There is a vertical alignment parameter for both of those objects, but as near as I can tell, it does not work.
- Make sure your font size is the same. - The left side of the GUI has a whole bunch of alignment buttons that make life much easier then trying to drag everything around. - I manually reduce the height of the field and labels until they are essentially vertically centered. Trial and error here.
