Alright, I just "downgraded" to JVM 1.5_15 I re-enabled hotspot compilation (removed the -Xint arg)
Had to delete all the existing class files in the cfclasses directory (prsumably because they were compiled under java 6)... *EXACT* same behavior. Actually worse.
