I sent several replies to several messages BEFORE Michael's cease&desist,
and they hadn't appeared 2 hours after his message. So mine was probably
one of the 10 that apparently continued afterwards.
But I would never continue a thread after the owner said it was closed,
even if I thought closing it was unjustified. These lists exist at the
patronage of the list owner, so we all have to live by the rules set by
the owner, no matter what they are.
An email list is one of the few areas of life where the owner can be an
abolute ruler if he chooses. Thankfully, Michael is not only a tolerant
listowner, he's also knowledgeable one. We are all lucky he's doing this
for us.
I am sorry if I transgressed, Michael.
Cheers,
Mike Kear
