OpenOffice can convert between Microsoft Office and other document formata, (server-side). (It's really probably the best there is at this). OpenDocument Format is the original standard for file representation, ( ISO/IEC 26300:2006 Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) v1.0), so I don't know why Microsoft pursued a "second" standard... Last but not least, Microsoft Office will soon support OpenDocument Format, ( http://www.microsoft.com/Presspass/press/2008/may08/05-21ExpandedFormatsPR.mspx). I see your point, though :) speeves ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/message.cfm/messageid:313863 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.4
