Rob, Thanks, that is solid advice. We'll look into making those kinds of changes. When this feature was initially created, it did not anticipate this many emails going out so I think it's a case of an unexpected load.
Also, if anyone else has insight into the meaning of the EOF error in the mail.log, I'd still be interested. Thanks!
