Worthless to have persistent folding? While I never have used it, even though it does exist in DW which I do use, I could see how some people might like it after having it. If perhaps they are working on something that they cannot finish in one day and they do not leave their machine in stand by mode over night or over a weekend. I know I routinely work in files where I end up folding some large chunks of code so I can reference things in different sections, like a split window I suppose. But I always put my work laptop in stand by mode so never really cared if the folding stayed after closing a file since if I close it then I am done with whatever task I was trying to accomplish at that time.
