This discussion was on DW, not Spry, but I've got to stand up for it here. I find Spry to be -very- nice to use, and pretty powerful. It may not be jQuery, but for getting and displaying AJAX-based data on page, no framework can beat it for simplicity (especially for folks who may not have a lot of JS experience.)
