I am running the latest stable version of Apache (2.2.3). Although I wasn't able to figure out a solution to this specific issue with JRun I figured out how to basically create a single virtual host that will allow me to do what I need. Basically, it involves using mod_vhost_alias. If anyone is curious you can read about it at the following URL:
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/vhosts/mass.html So I now basically have a single virtual host that uses a VirtualDocumentRoot that is set to somedir/%1_host_tld. This allows me to essentially create additional sites without having to restart Apache. Thank you to those that responded to my question. - John >Then can you check version?
