So I have a problem here... I can't uninstall coldfusion 8 .net
integration. I mean, it didn't install properly anyway (windows 2k8
x64) ...

I tried to uninstall it from the uninstall dialog... and I get

"You do not have sufficient privileges to remove Coldfusion 8 .NET
Integration Services. Please contact your system administrator.

But I *AM* the system administrator. I'm logged in as the admin, and
the add/remove programs window is run as administrator.

When I installed it, the service was started but the
C:\Coldfusion8DotNetService directory was not created and the service
was running out of some temp folder.

I'm about to try again and see where it installs this time...
