I've been spoiled by GoDaddy. I've been developing ASP sites for 6 years and
have been hosting with GoDaddy for 4. Their customer support have only let me
down once. Their plans are amazing - practically unlimited (150gb space, 1.51b
transfer, unlimited domains...) for $60/yr. I'll never need any more than that.
And my sites are always up. One site has revenue of about $30,000/mo..another
site gets about $10,000/mo. Visits are between 20K and 50K. They run fine. And
almost all of my sites (including these) are using MSAccess.

I just thought I'd throw that out there. However, I haven't heard one good
thing about their CF hosting. Plus, they still only offer 7 and they have been
saying for a year that they are upgrading to 8. So, definitely not at the top
of their priorities.

As a result of the economy, I was forced to go out job hunting last year. I
found a company about 2 hours away that was willing to allow me to telecommute.
All their sites were in CF. I was always attracted to CF, but never took the
time to learn it. The job is a subcontract job and not full time, but it has
allowed me to learn it a little while getting paid. I like the company, but
they don't have a control panel or any kind of web-based admin, are still on
CF7 and don't have any options besides Access. Because even though I haven't
had problems with Access, I'd like to get some more experience with MySQL or
even MSSQL.

Anyway, this post is getting too long, so I'll just get to the point. Ray
Camden has an ad for SoZo Hosting. Their shared plans look decent. I'm guessing
this is where Ray's sites are hosted. Any reviews?

I looked into Daily Razor and their shared plans are also attractive. But some
reviews I've found are pretty bad. Any reviews from the list?

I guess I'm looking for a reliable host whose shared plans allow multiple
domains, offer CF8 and MySql for $20 or $30/mo and could easily upgrade my
account to a VPS or dedicated if necessary.

If you're still reading this, thank you. I tend to write a lot sometimes. I was
thinking about putting this in the newbie list, but a post was already started
here.

Thanks!
