Why go with jasperReports when CFREPORT does the same thing (and actually is jasperReports under the hood)? And there are many cases where a true report writer like cfreport (or jasper) doesn't suit the needs when you just need to produce a PDF document. If it's not tabular reporting, you pretty much *HAVE* to use cfdocument. cfdocument and cfreport do not really compete with each other.
