Ian, on CF7 you do not have the built in CFAJAX stuff, so it simply means you have to do a little more work using CF + JQuery to make ajax calls. Here is a quickstart using CF7 http://365labs.net/cf_jquery/jquery_coldfusion_quickstart.htm
