I don't get it. There is no language on the planet that will write itself for you. And no language will rewrite a webservice for you. No, not even .NET.
I have refrained from commenting on this thread, but this last post just kinda pushed me over the edge. Numerous people have given you all the tools and tips and code samples that would make this a 10-15 minute job. Yet you want them to actually dig into your system, figure out everything for you, and write the code for you. Otherwise it is too big a task for you, and you'll have to move on to .NET because it has "better long-term prospects". That is absurd.
