Try running fusionreactor and see what is running at the time you have the problem It just helped me solve a tricky problem.. cold fusion was hanging after running one template multiple times.. worked perfectly when I tried it, hung the server when others ran it. The template was indexing pdfs.. turned out it was using too much memory (cfmx7 32 bit).. no way I would have figured it out without fusionreactor.
