Yesterday, out of the blue Apache stopped working on my desktop/Dev server:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit - fully patched
CF 9.01 64 bit developer with all patches
XAMPP 7.1 With Apache 2.2.11

I looked at the system logs and I go this error.

Apache.exe: Syntax error on line 1054 of
C:/UniServer_7_1_1/usr/local/apache2/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load
C:/ColdFusion9/runtime/lib/wsconfig/2/mod_jrun22.so into server: %1 is not a
valid Win32 application.

I was upgrading XAMPP 7.1 to a more recent version due to MediaWiki not
liking the version of PHP I was running. I went to restart the Apache
service and it failed with the above error. I then proceeded to try and get
it to work on several other several versions of XAMPP 7.x and Uniform
server (that all worked before) and all of them gave me the same error.

Technically CF 64 bit version does not work with Apache 2.2 32 bit but I
have been running this set up for months and have the same setup (more or
less) on 2 other machines and they all work fine. As did this machine did
until yesterday. Google did not give up anything that addressed this other
than don't use the 64 bit version of CF or use a 64 bit version of Apache.

What is really weird is that my laptop is running the exact same rig with
out a hitch. I even copied the Uniform server set up from my laptop and put
it on this machine, ran the Web server Configuration tool, and got the same
error.

Anyone run into this or know a work around? I really don't want to reinstall
everything.

As always, many TIA.

G!
