It's very easy to uninstall CF entirely.

1. Run the Web Server Configuration Tool to delete any connections
between CF and your web server.
2. Delete the service entries in the registry under
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\services
3. There may be a CF key under HKLM\Software - it will either be named
Allaire or Macromedia. It's not really essential to delete this if you
don't want to, but you can.
4. Delete or rename the CF directory.

That said, you may not need to do this. When you install an updater,
it creates a backup directory within the CF directory, and you may be
able to just pull the files out of that and put them back over the
updated files.
