I tried this and it didn't work.  Funny thing is I tried to remove them and I 
get an error saying IIS cannot remove the extensions .cfm... etc.  I tried it 
with cold fusion service stopped and started.  Along with IIS.  And of course 
tried it with both started.  I did add the extensions as well, still the same 
error.

use the website config tool to disable/enable CF on the default website.
