You might have to use some java to do it...I did some stuff a few summers ago (which is posted here if you search the list...august/September 2010 I think) that used java classes to create images on the fly. It was using some code that Ben Nadel started to work on and I expanded on that.

I did find a piece of code that actually generates a barcode as an image. So what I was thinking was creating an image with CF and then referencing that. Is there a way to create a new image in CF? I was looking at CFIMAGE but I do not see where I can pass the barcode text/numbers and make it into an actual image. The code I downloaded is encrypted so I can't make any changes to it.
