Thanks for the response Carl. I will look for the official adobe document which says that. When I was discussing this with my admin, he felt that that the EULA does not explicitly specify that the key can be installed.
The license was procured for Coldfusion 10 however I am not sure if my admin is aware of the changes regarding the number of cores clause on the EULA, so thought of finding a solution for it too.
