Rick, It might work pretty well under other OS's. But there are a number of people (myself included) that have had issues on Windows 7/Windows Server 2008. I think there are issues with Windows UAC and other permission controls. The only workaround aside from doing the command-line install is to put the ColdFusion service account into the local Administrators group whenever I install updates.
