Sorry, forgot to come back to this. > This is not a false analogy because [etc]
But it *is* a false analogy because it's generally a government requirement for people to be licensed to drive a car before they can use one, so it's reasonable to assume from the outset of the sale process that a minimum level of education is already in place regarding how a car works. This is not the case with CFML. I think, on the whole, "physical object" analogies made in the context of IT considerations have a lovely superficial warmth to them, but generally end up being pretty specious. -- Adam ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/message.cfm/messageid:358170 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/unsubscribe.cfm
