While he didn't stick the bottle in your mouth for you, al least he did tell
you to take your hand off the burner.
If importing the dbase db into Oracle, then doing the compare in the db with
sql is not an option, and doing the compare with another program written in
VB or Java or something isn't either. I'd say explore using flags to signify
a new record in the new db...
Every bit of your code is doable in Oracle though...just get the data into
Oracle first.
