I've used it for Perl but I ended up using PerlBuilder from SolutionSoft,
http://www.solutionsoft.com .

You can use the Perl debugger from the GUI itself which is something
CFStudio can't do (and shouldn't).
It also has one simple little IDE visual which I love which is that when
hold the mouse pointer over a bracket it dynamically highlights the bracket
it's closing counterpart. Handy for quickly sorting bracket syntax errors.

Speaking of which it'd be nice if CFStudio would do this for opening and
closing tags and brackets....

I've only ever written sys-sdmin type Perl scripts and no web stuff so can't
comment on it working with CF.

Regards,
Kevin

Subject: Would you consider CF studio a good PERL editor?

What is your opinion on whether or not CF studio is a good PERL editor?

I am also interested in hearing opinions on how well PERL works with CF in
general.

Might be a good CFUG topic. If any one has already done it, I would love to
borrow their lecture notes.

Thanks in advance,
Dave Adams
