I, also, am running W2K, IIS and sDSL. I have had no trouble at all with it.
I installed a 3Com Internet Firewall DMZ. The DMZ port exposes the server to
the Internet while still providing firewall protection to it and the rest of
my network (at this point, only me). The 10BT from the DSL connects to the
WAN port, the server connects to the DMZ port and the LAN connects to the
LAN port. One caveat, firmware version 5.07 had a problem with NetBios
through to the DMZ, so the servers on the DMZ do not appear under My Network
Places/Network Neighborhood. They have apparently fixed that in 5.0.8. That
hasn't been a problem for me because I always put two NIC's in my servers,
one with a public IP address and one with a private IP address that connects
to my LAN.
Hope this helps. Send me an email or give me a call if you have any
questions.

Subject: WOT: Serving to the web using W2K, IIS and DSL
Sorry for the off-topic post.
I have a co-worker halfway across the nation who is building some GIS
applications using ARC IMS. She's running a W2K machine, IIS and has a DSL
connection to the web. Can she serve her own applications to the web so the
rest of the team can see what she's doing?
A point in the right direction would be much appreciated!
