My apologies if this suggestion has already been posted with regards to
"Joel Firestone" post at the bottom.

You said they are timing out after 10-15 seconds although in the
Application.cfm you have it set for 20 minutes. Have you checked the
Administrator settings for the time-out on the session variables - the MIN
and MAX values?

These options override any individual use of the CFAPPLICATION tag to
enabled application or session variables. If these variables are disabled in
the Administrator, they cannot be used in any ColdFusion application.

In addition, make sure you are 'locking' your session variables :)

Again, my apologies if this has already been suggested, our mail server was
hit with a virus and a lot of mail was deleted :/

I hate to sound like an echo, but we were having very similar issues a few
days before a major launch, and I spent the night moving all my session
variables to client variables and sticking them in a SQL datasource. I
haven't had a single problem since. And I never could find a good
explanation why my session variables were acting strangely. I don't know
how many variables were talking about over how many lines of code, but
client variables have worked flawlessly for us.

Joel,
I noticed the same problem and ended up reinstalling CF! I don't know
what the problem is and it seems like after a while my sessions start to
just shorten and shorten. If you find a solution please let me know.

Thanks,

Neil
