Yeah -- Java more than JSP. Java custom tags are killer.
But what do you need to do?
Splash up a user interface, then Flash yes.
Energize serverside processing? Perl or Java -- generally Perl is used more
on Unix systems, but that line is fading fast. I work at a company that's a
Java shop, so my Perl book is gathering dust while I learn about class
libraries.
Interface with company directories and such -- get to know LDAP.
Share info between many systems -- XML -- this baby is getting bigger every
day. Seems you can't turn around without having to know XML to configure an
application.
If you're responsible for the user interface -- including how the app
handles more than one window -- Javascript -- Javascript -- Javascript!
There are so many people who do server-side programming who get lost by
trying to manage Javascript events. Do NOT use the CF form tags -- write all
your own Javascript -- the javascript in CF form tags will get in your way.

Java - especially as you can use it to build custom tags.
SQL - but I can't see how you can do CF development without it so I'm
not sure I'd call it complimentary
UNIX or Windows administration depending on what servers you want to
deploy on
Leave the Flash coding to the Flash weasels.
