[at the risk of resurrecting this thread, here's my belated shiny two new
pence worth ;-)]
I think by far the most frightening thing is that the Secret Service of the
largest country in the "free world" moves so fast to stamp on this kind of
opinion (as poorly expressed as it was).
It's government response like that that makes satire thrive (the apology
being a good case in point).
Mind you, I would much rather be forbidden to bear arms and be able to voice
my honest opinion than the reverse.
