The official format in the Netherlands as described in NEN-ISO 8601:1994
uses the same numerical representations as the ISO format. But not many
people abide by it and the following formats are widely used:
dd-mm-yy
dd-mm-yyyy
dd mm yy
dd mm yyyy
dd/mm/yy
dd/mm/yyyy
Not really hard to handle because it is just the delimiter that changes.
But of course you have to know that the order is day and then month.
