Crystaltech was great at $19.95/mo for a shared server acct that provided
Access DSN's and CF5. They shut off CFRegistry (can't blame 'em on a shared
host setup) and, since I needed close-interval scheduled tasks, this caused
me to move... but their uptime was effectively 100% .
I moved to Media3.net for $29.95/mo, and they graciously put me on a server
where CFRegistry was active, but I made a point of telling them what I was
up to beforehand so they could decide whether it was OK or not. They also
provided me with essentially 100% uptime.
I'd strongly recommend either for an inexpensive shared host acct. Neither
provided a control panel for DSN mgmt at the time, but reliability and fast
turnaround of dsn creation req's made this a moot point.
