I have simple warranties for my free tags, both at the top of every template in the code and on the web site. They're different, and the web ver is probably the stronger, as it conveys strong intent, if a bit whimsically.
For commercial stuff, check the license of any software you buy (the tiny print you never read on the disk envelope). Download some tags from the Dev Exchg and see what their warranties are. While you do that, don't forget to cut/paste the Allaire download warranty that pops up before every tag download ;D Cheers, ----------------------------------------- Matt Robertson [EMAIL PROTECTED] MSB Designs, Inc. http://mysecretbase.com ----------------------------------------- ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tony Hicks" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Anyone have a good "Terms of Download" for a free custom tag and one for a paid custom tag? I am by no means a good writer but I have a few custom tags and I want to make sure the understanding of downloading such and such custom tag is clear.. Such as that I am not liable, no warranty (on free tags, if there is a bug in a purchased tag, I'll replace it). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Get the mailserver that powers this list at http://www.coolfusion.com FAQ: http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists
